About Me
Hello, my name is Philip Gardner and I am a Professional Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies.
I have been trained to the highest standards at the infamous Ivor Spencer School of Professional Toastmasters, and I am proud that I am now the Secretary of the Guild of International and Professional Toastmasters. I now have over 10 years experience within the profession and have been honoured with the title of "Toastmaster of the Year 2007" by the Guild.
I pride myself on my style, being professional whilst not regimental or obtrusive. My role is that of liaison throughout your event to ensure it flows apparently quite effortlessly to a successful conclusion.
I have officiated at numerous and different types of functions, including Weddings (of all cultures), Corporate Dinners, Cocktail Parties, Ladies Masonic Festivals and Bar Mitzvahs. I have also had the fun experience of appearing in several film and television roles in my capacity as a Toastmaster, such as Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and the BBC's Wedding Stories. I am also very proud to have officiated at many Royal Occasions, Celebrity Weddings, and Famous Personality Charity Dinners.
My motto is:
'LOW KEY BUT EFFECTIVE'
I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK or Europe, and have been fortunate enough to have travelled the world far and wide in my capacity as a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies.
